IMHO, you should non worry. I think the recommended schedule maintenance is every twoscore,000 miles or four years, which always occurs starting time, merely verify. Time plays a factor equally well.

I was well-nigh to say the aforementioned thing, the MB filter is cheap but the 134fe blue ATF is not! If draining the torque converter you can expect to need 9 quarts on hand. These are effectually 12 to 15 bucks each.

My 2014 Maintenance Transmission says every quaternary engine oil change for Automatic Transmission Oil and Filter alter. Information technology also says to replace Poly V Belt and then as well.

Fantabulous indicate, I would certainly investigate what spec fluid was used.

I specifically asked them when I dropped information technology off if they knew about the special fluid used in these transmissions and they bodacious me they knew that, they do fleet work on sprinters for diverse companies. On my receipt it says fully constructed transmission fluid but doesn't list the spec. I will call them on Monday and see if they can tell me. If information technology turns out they didn't use the right fluid, I doubtable they will tell me not to worry about it. I just drove it 400 miles today on a road trip, absolutely no issues with the transmission, shifts as smoothen equally e'er.
So the question is, if they didn't employ the specific 134fe fluid, should I rush to the nearest dealer and get it changed out? I was really hoping to not have to take it to the dealer (besides the higher costs, the nearest dealer is actually far from me and is very hard to become appointments less than 4 weeks out). I am non a transmission expert by any stretch, I have used this trans store for all my other vehicles and have yet to have a problem, but I realize these vans are a bit dissimilar.
My MB OM says to use Shell ATF 3403/Chiliad-115 MB Sheet No. 236.10 OR Fuchs/Beat out ATF 3353 MB Sheet No. 236.12. Does anyone accept a nautical chart that shows equivalent types or are these truly the ONLY recommended fluids?
Feeling worried now...

The fluid that your 7 speed needs is bluish, and quite expensive. My six cylinder, 5 speed is crimson (lots more to it than color), only a valid manner to make up one's mind if it you are good to become. But with that said, unfortunately there is a solid chance that they did not drain the torque converter. I simply changed mine for the starting time time at 30,000 miles and the torque converter drain was fairly challenging to R&R. I have read about quite a few times where it was pretty obvious this detail was ignored.
If you lot do find that they used the incorrect fluid yous will absolutely want to drain the torque converter and the pan. Good luck!

Scroll downward to the correct BEVO number and it will bring up a list of all MB canonical oils for that specification... https://bevo.mercedes-benz.com/bevolisten/bevo-sheets-sort1.html#close

I just looked under the hood and I am non sure where the transmission dip stick is located? I plant the yellow engine oil dipstick, but not certain where the manual fluid level cheque is located. I thought the fluid colour exam would exist a practiced idea as you lot suggested. If anyone knows what color the dipstick is and where to find it nether the hood, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you,

Then, ruddy lock would be indicative of a possible service. On the other manus, it could simply mean fluid level was checked.
The photos you posted have a clip that is blackness. I wanted to make a comment to help folks who may exist trying to sort these things out without tearing into the actual engine compartment.
It may be possible to purchase a cap with a black clip. I accept not searched and then far. it certainly is easier to see the 2 parts with a crimson clip.
(When I was helping with boy scouts, I dyed one cease of some nylon rope segments to make it easier to follow which finish did what when learning knots)
